Level-up your career, influence design and mentor others through design decisions.
Welcome Lieutenant, we’re super excited you’re ready to take the next step in your career! We’re looking for someone to join us in building the next generation of designers!
If you share these beliefs, then we’d like to talk with you about leveling up your career. We want you to influence design and mentor our designers and customers through difficult design problems.
We're a close-knit team of driven product designers, engineers and advocates who believe in rapid prototyping, advocacy and experience design. We've been around since 1998, creating world-class products that over a billion people have used. We’ve earned the opportunity to work with the most progressive technology companies in the world and we need your help to build better products and services that solve problems and influence these companies.
Your typical day at ZURB will involve working closely with designers and advocates on client projects, teaching Progressive Design and how to move projects through it. We have a variety of projects that we specialize in and how we create magic. You’ll work on amazing innovation projects, with companies like Mozilla or Netflix, to drive the next phase of growth in the company. You’ll define the product feature direction for internet companies like McAfee, Firefox, Facebook or Samsung, driving change across the organization. You’ll build the first prototypes for successful startups like Palantir or 23andMe, or help companies like MobileIron or Coupons.com go public. Sometimes you’ll jump into the details to help companies create millions of dollars of lift in signups or shopping carts with customers, like Tailored Brands or Keap.
You’ll build confidence and trust in design decisions by backing it up with user feedback and insights gained through Helio. You'll use your core skills to influence other designers on the team, drive projects forward and coaching your teammates toward wins.
As a Lead, we'd like you to have the following skills:
